Bill Cosby's wife: 'He deserves every bit of the hell he's going through'

AFTER 50 years of support, it appears Camille Cosby has finally turned on her famous husband.

END OF HER TETHER: Camille has had enough of being humilated

The comedian's wife, who is being forced to testify in a defamation lawsuit filed by seven women, has revealed that she is at her wit's end under the strain of the trial.

Refusing to attend Bill's court appearance last week, in which the sexual assault charges levied against him were announced, she reportedly told a close family friend that she was overcome with fury and humiliation.

“My husband doesn't deserve jail, but he does deserve every bit of the hell he’s going through now even though he is still pretending that this hell doesn't exist," she told the friend.

Camille has been aware of the comedy icon's cheating for years according to the New York Post's Page Six, but had always "insisted that her husband be discreet and not shame her".

FORCED TO TESTIFY: Camille has no choice but to appear in court

A source explained: "She has been thoroughly humiliated and believe me, her anger isn’t directed at the women.

"Bill has humiliated her, and the affairs he’s had have gotten out of hand and this [charge] is him reaping what he’s sown."

Last week, Camille applied to get out of giving a deposition as part of the lawsuit, but a federal judge denied the motion on grounds that she did not warrant the protection of the state's marital disqualification law.

As such, she will be deposed by the women's lawyers on Wednesday.

FALL FROM GRACE: Bill has been charged with sexual assault

Bill's legal team claimed that subjecting Camille to questioning was “nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to pressure defendant in the face of subjecting his wife to the shame and embarrassment of responding to questions about his alleged infidelities and sexual misconduct”.

They have now filed a countersuit accusing the women causing Cosby of sexual assault of making false allegations for financial gain.
